Karyn Langhorne graduated from Harvard Law and was law professor for several years before giving it up to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. In addition to writing women's fiction, she is the author of several books of nonfiction, screenplays and stage plays. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband, two daughters and a lazy beagle named Raisin.
